Hello! I live in Portland, Oregon but I was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to Brooklyn, NY with my parents when I was 3 years old.
My love for ceramics began in elementary school when I took my first wheel throwing class at the local YMCA. At Skidmore College, I studied ceramics and art history. After a 20-year hiatus, I started playing with clay again in 2017.
I love to create elegant functional pieces in clean shapes and color palettes for daily use, and to hopefully enhance people’s eating enjoyment.
Each piece is hand thrown on the wheel and hand glazed.
